Display
Superficially, the
5.5-inch, 1,920-by-1,080 screen looks just like last year's model. While Apple
says it's 25 percent brighter and displays better colors, side-by-side, I just
can't see the difference in under and standard use circumstances. The screen also
still pales (often literally) against the rich color and precise text on
Samsung's latest AMOLED displays. Almost everything you experience with your
iPhone comes to life on its display. It’s where you look at the photos,
messages, news, and countless other things that make up your day.
Design
Aside from the MIA
headphone port, you’d be hard-pressed to pick the iPhone 7 Plus from a lineup
of 6S Pluses - well, from the front at any rate. There’s barely any difference
at all, with the biggest being that the Home button isn’t actually a button
now. It’s still got fingerprint-sensing TouchID smarts that work just as
swiftly as those on last year’s phone, but it now sits flush to the phone.
3D
Touch
When you use 3D Touch,
your iPhone responds with subtle taps. So not only will you see what a press
can do—you’ll feel it. The new Retina HD display on iPhone 7 deeply integrates
3D Touch throughout iOS. Now you can interact with Messages, Calendar, Mail,
and other apps in a more powerful, more responsive way.
Camera
iPhone 7 Plus doesn’t
have just one entirely new camera system—it has two. The same 12 MP wide-angle
camera that’s on iPhone 7 works with a 12 MP telephoto camera that can get even
closer. That means you can get higher-quality zoom from farther away. And with
an all-new depth-of-field effect (coming soon), portrait shots will look better
than ever. Say hello to the world’s best photo op.
Apple
iphone 7 Plus Audio
The Plus has excellent
sound to back up the stellar screen, with stereo speakers finally finding their
way into an iPhone for the first time (or second if you count the fact that
they're also included on the smaller iPhone 7). They can pump out impressively
loud audio, and don’t sound half-bad either - no need to grab your back-up
’buds when you want to watch a YouTube video. Sound has taken a hit in another
area, though: the headphone port. It’s gone, ditched in favour of Apple’s
Lightning port.
Verdict
The camera has always
been one of the iPhone’s greatest weapons against the encroaching army of
rapidly improving Android handsets, and the substantial upgrade Apple has
squeezed into the iPhone 7 Plus makes it a no-brainer for mobile photographers.
Waterproofing is a welcome touch, bringing it on par with Sony and Samsung
phones, and it’s a performance powerhouse when it comes to apps and games. Add
in a better battery and you’ve got a clear winner over the vanilla iPhone 7.
Battery
Our battery tests don't
make it easy to compare iPhones and Android devices. That's because while
iPhones tend to have power-hungry screens, Android devices bleed more power in
the background. On our standard test, which streams a video over LTE with the
screen at full brightness, the iPhone screen's power usage blows away all its
other advantages. So to say that the iPhone 7 Plus gets 6 hours of battery life
while the Galaxy S7 Edge gets 10 hours really just reflects that Samsung's
AMOLED screen is far more efficient than the iPhone's LCD.
Thanks for a wonderful share. Your article has proved your hard work and experience you have got in this field. Brilliant .i love it reading.
